Paper Skirt is owned and operated by Lana Stewart.

The shop is the result of an obsession with paper. After creating wedding invitations for friends and myself, I couldn’t let that year and a half of intense creativity and paper purchasing end.

Paper Skirt is inspired by the feeling of receiving a gift that was designed just for you. It’s about sharing your thoughts with a handwritten note or through a photograph. It’s about staying connected to friends and family.  Paper Skirt products are not mass-produced and due to their handmade nature, no two items are exactly the same.

With a degree in multimedia design, I strive to create original, clever and sophisticated items. It is my ultimate aim to design papergoods that you will keep & love. Forever.

The studio is based in lovely downtown Ottawa with much help from Orville, my “production manager.”
